Ashley McColl, a Trainee Clinical Psychologist, is currently looking for people aged 65 and over in the Moray and Grampian areas to participate in a research study that is being supported by NHS Grampian and University of Edinburgh. This study has been developed to explore the relationship between attitudes towards aging, planning and thinking abilities, and self-management of Type 2 Diabetes in older adults; and it is hoped that the results may help to identify ways to improve the care provided to older people with Type 2 Diabetes
If you are aged 65 or over, and have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes for at least a year, regardless of how you manage your condition, Ashley would love to meet with you!
Participation involves one meeting with Ashley, lasting approximately an hour. At this meeting you will invited to complete a few brief questionnaires and short tests looking at planning and processing abilities. This meeting will be at a local location in Elgin for your convenience. If you have any questions or wish to discuss this research in more detail, you are very welcome to contact Ashley on 01343 567023 or at email@example.com.
